1. Initial Consultation
Your journey starts with a consultation, where the team examines your teeth and discusses clear aligners as a treatment option. X-rays and scans will be taken to create a personalized treatment plan.
2. Treatment Planning
Using 3D imaging,x-rays and photos your aligners will be designed to fit your teeth perfectly. The treatment plan is customized to gradually shift your teeth into place, and you'll know what your smile will look like at the end. Your quotation will be ready in 5-7 working days.
3. Receiving Your Aligners
Once you pay the deposit your custom aligners order will be placed and it takes 7-14 working days for delivery. Once they arrive you’ll receive your first appointment and first set of aligners. You’ll wear each aligner daily for about 2 weeks before switching to the next in the series. They are comfortable and nearly invisible, but may cause mild discomfort as your teeth move.
4. Regular Check-Ups
Every 2 weeks, you’ll visit your iSmile Dental to get your next set of aligners and ensure your treatment is progressing well. These visits may include necessary adjustments.
5. Retainers
After your treatment is complete, you’ll wear retainers to maintain your new smile. Retainers help prevent your teeth from shifting back and ensure long-lasting results.
6. Post-Treatment Care
Continue to practice good oral hygiene and schedule regular dental check-ups to keep your teeth healthy and your smile straight.
